“There’s something I should be doing, I just don’t know what…”
I hear that refrain often from our customers and friends. No matter how serious they are about their spiritual discipline there always comes a time when what was once satisfactory is no longer so. Which leads to more searching…
I like to congratulate folks when they say this, especially the experienced energy workers. Because it means they have gone on a journey to a goal, achieved it, and discovered it really wasn’t the ultimate satisfaction. So they try adding in another spectrum on energy…then another…
Should you be feeling that way right now you have a wonderful opportunity to address your unrest because it is Mercury Retrograde, a segment of time that occurs three to four times a year when the planet Mercury appears to go backwards. Mercury is the energy of communication and relationships so this is a time we’re all alerted not to sign contracts or initiate new projects. But also a very excellent time to unravel our past decisions so that we can go forward in another direction. Chaos and looseness of energy fields has its own benefits!
This is a time when you can reach back in time/space and find crucial nodal points where you made decisions and would love to undo them. It’s a time when you can travel back even into past lives and examine your actions there. And so from this vantage point understand other ways to look at what occurred and to change your relation to these actions.
During these times I frequently find myself identifying with the energies of other times and cultures. I might feel drawn to an ancient Egyptian incarnation, or a Native American or Far East lifetime…it will be different at different times. At such a time I draw comfort and energy from the work I did at that point in time. These energies frequently have images associated with them – such as the figure of Isis, the image of the sun or the AUM symbol. It helps me, being a visual person, to wear that image to connect to the advanced stream of positive energy.
That’s why here at Crystal Life we have so many images from various world cultures on our website. Our customers come in and request an image or a sacred geometry form because it gives them hope, strength, courage…and they want to keep it close to them. So we keep expanding our offerings. That’s why we call our work Jewelry with Purpose!
Have you made use of the work you have done in your own soul’s lifetime? This lifetime expands to include many incarnations here on earth, when you focused on mastering various aspects of universal consciousness. You can draw on your past life work for extra strength in this lifetime. Images and energies from key lifetimes frequently resonate with you instinctively when you encounter them.
Nowadays, we can use help from all positive resources. So here’s a plan for you…sit quietly and tap into some other time/space/culture that comes forward. Let the forces of that period flood through you, so that you remember the good and have the opportunity to re-examine the misunderstood hard times. (Hard times are frequently especially strong learning experiences for your soul.)
Then drop by our website, crystal-life.com – we consider it an inter-cultural oasis in time/space – and see what images resonate with you. I suggest you spin through the World Cultures pendant area and our Sacred Arts area. Have a relaxed time looking at all the different images in these rooms and when you find one that resonates with you, stop for awhile and focus on the image as you seek to understand how that energy in some way affected you and still affects you. What era? What place?
Does it help you to just look at the image…or do you want to wear it for extra vibrational strength? Some of our customers – and our staff – find it helpful to wear images from several cultures at the same time. It’s like taking several strands of thread and combining them to make a stout sustaining cord. That cord can keep you connected to your own particular unique set of spiritual resources – resources you can draw upon in good times and bad.
Have some fun doing this – and in that relaxed fun, you’ll learn something new about yourself.
Happy exploring!
