Pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, is a shiny and radiant stone that has the ability to attract the energies of wealth and abundance.  Pyrite is a talisman of protection, while also providing energizing and stimulating leadership qualities.  An Earth element, Pyrite ironically is known for “fire” energy that resonates with warmth, the sun, vitality, and generating wealth with your own innate power and hard work.

In the home, pyrite increases energy, while helping to combat mental fatigue from overworking. For the student, pyrite is particularly helpful in mental clarity and recall. If you require a spark of creativity, pyrite helps with math, science, architecture, and professions who strive for harmony between nature and mankind.

Carry the stone in your pocket or purse on those special days when you need mental clarity and protection from any physical and emotional states. Pyrite’s shiny disposition can breathe optimism and cheerfulness.  Its brightness can provide mental clarity and grounding to any office and study.  Because of its ability to facilitate a clear mental state, it is often used to enhance any academic endeavors and situations where good judgment is needed.

Native Americans believed that pyrite was a healing stone of magic and was highly prized.

Pyrite Forms & Their Use

Pyrite clusters are best used in a home as a wealth enhancer.  Place the stone in the SE or the NE of your living room, family room or office.  You may also place it in your main entrance if it faces East.

Pyrite in cube form is best used in the office, especially when you need symmetry, precision, and balance.

A pyrite globe or nugget is excellent in the living room or home office, a place where besides its other inherent qualities, a little creativity is welcomed.

Popcorn pyrite spreads the pyrite energy over a large area. We often use popcorn pyrite in crystal grids.
