Small Lepidolite Power Points

These Small Lepidolite Power Points vary slightly in their shape and size but all of them have 6 polished facets on the top of the point with sides that are roughly carved and a flat bottom. Each of these points have been creatively carved freehand to accent the stones individual nature They all show their own variation of the beautiful soft lilac and rich mauve coloration seen in Lepidolite.  They measure  between 3″ to 4″ tall and 2″ to 3″ at their widest point.

Geology

Lepidolite is a member of the mica group of minerals. Often, it’s found within granite or as inclusions that have formed alongside Quartz, felspar, and Tourmaline.  It is used commercially as a source of the alkali metals  Lithium and Rubidium, both of which are extremally unstable and as such natural, pure sources of the metals are very uncommon. This stone is frequently sourced from Brazil, California, Madagascar and the Ural Mountains.
