Larimar was discovered in 1919 by Father Miguel Domingo Fuertes Loren of the Barahona Parish in the Dominican Republic.

Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone, Dolphin Stone, and Blue Pectolite.

Larimar has long been believed to help raise your consciousness to connect with other dimensions.

Using this stone is thought to help heal troubled relationships, and helps you to find your soulmate.

Geology

Larimar is a variety of the mineral Pectolite. It is found only off the coast of the Dominican Republic. This stone is recognized for its light and dark blue coloration.

You can place Larimar in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth overnight.
