Tumbled K2 | Extra Large

These are high quality specimens of Tumbled K2. We call them extra large tumbled stones but some of them rival the size of small pebbles and palmstones measuring around 1.5″ in length. They are very cube like in shape some being more rectangular than others but all of these stones possess consistently visible Azurite and Malachite inclusions on a creamy polished granite base.

K2 Point Pendant

K2 is a rare stone. It connects to the third eye and opens the highest levels of consciousness, allowing one to receive guidance from higher dimensions. This stone helps you control your emotions by centering and balancing your mind, body, and spirit. K2 promotes group harmony and deepens emotional ties with friends and family. It is named for the mountain foothills it was discovered on. K2 is considered by many to be a key transformative stone combining soft, tough, and translucent energies in the mind, body, and spirit. The rarity of this stone is often attributed to the elevation and cold climate of its origin point, the mountain K2. Other names for this stone include “K2 jasper” and “raindrop Azurite”.

Geology

K2 stones are found at the base of K2, the second highest mountain in the world located near the border between Pakistan and China. They are a combination of granite (quartz, mica, feldspar) dotted with inclusions of azurite (blue) and/or malachite (green). 

Chakra Association

K2 may be beneficial to all chakras but is particularly liked to the third eye.

Astrological Folklore

K2 is not known to be associated with any astrological signs.

Health Folklore

K2 is believed to soothe headaches, as well as the bones and pain receptors.

Tumbled K2 Care

Bathe in full moonlight regularly to energize crystals. Cleanse regularly by placing on a piece of selenite or by moving through the smoke of sage. These stones can be gently washed with soap and water if necessary.
