Inmate Prayer Beads

We handcraft these, as a service to our imprisoned colleagues, in the standard 108 count. The prayer beads are black faceted plastic beads, unknotted between the beads, strung on 100% black cotton cord and approximately 36″ long.The 108 count is used in Hindu and Buddhist practices (called a mala) and in Christian practices (as a rosary). You can request these beads from us in other counts for no extra charge. Some options are the 99 count (Islamic/Sufi count, also called a misbaha or tasbih) and the 72 count (Judaic).

Important to Note

Crystal Life is an approved DUNS provider to the prison system. Therefore we are approved for inmates to order from us. However, there are restrictions.

Prisons do not deliver these packages if sent as a gift from an external address or if ordered as general product by the prisoner. You need to follow specific channels, see below.

There are two options for successful delivery of these prayer beads:

1. This request comes to us via the prison chaplain. He provides us with the payment and receives the prayer beads for the inmate.The chaplain will need to contact us for our DUNS number. He can do so by calling 800 871 9985 or emailing us at orders@crystal-life.com
2. The inmate needs to provide us with an approved “authorization to request package” from the unit team.
