About 80% when cracked open have crystalized interiors – no way to know what will happen until opened! These are safely opened by placing inside an old sock and hitting hard with a hammer! 

Geodes form when mineral-rich water entering a cavity in a rock undergoes a sudden change in pressure or temperature, causing crystals to form from the solution and line the cavity’s walls. Often found in limestone and shale areas, usually having several layers of wavy chalcedony with some inward facing crystals and druze (dusting of tiny crystal particles).
