This stone’s name comes from its color and the Italian term for “chance,” referencing the stones accidental creation.

Aventurine is a type of quartz that comes in a variety of colors. It typically contains mica inclusions, these inclusions are responsible for giving the stone its color along with making the stone have a slight shimmer. Blue Aventurine is primarily found in India.
