I sat on a chair made of polychrome Jasper and felt this energy draw from my neck to the base of spine, then spread outward! Eyes closed, then I saw a flash of a figure that looked like Men At Work sign. I bought a thick 2 inch beautiful piece and I dont feel anything. Any thought?
Hi Victoria. There are many reasons for the different experience. The large size of the jasper seat against your base chakra which jasper is good for, the consciousness of someone who sat there before you being high and your relating to it. The men at work sign would indicate the jasper was helping with base chakra issues. The piece you bought: it may just have a different energy (stones are alive), it may have been too small for you to feel its energy, you may not have cleared the stone and it was carrying debris from someone who previously picked it up. Also, you were sitting on it and now you are holding it. So it may be the tactile connection to the base chakra is needed. I would suggest you cleanse the stone (let it sit on sea salt or kosher salt overnight, rinse it in water the same temperature as the room and be sure to discard the salt down the drain.) Then sit with the stone (e.g. hold it in your hands) and see what it wants to accomplish. If you wish to work with it on base chakra issues, ask its permission then you can either sit on the small stone or you can lie down and place the stone on the pubic bone and absorb its energies. Don’t forget to cleanse the stone every once in awhile. Like all else in life, working with a stone entails personal responsibility and learning some of the basics of the discipline. I hope this helps some. Atala
