Here’s a fun project for you to try out.
How do you like the “nature spirits” in this image? I created them “magically” via Photoshop cut and paste.
I wanted to experiment with a popular Photoshop project of cutting and adjusting photo parts, to see what could happen. I selected a dramatic photograph of trees by a pond because it had good depth of field and strong vertical lines.

I carefully sliced the photograph in half.
Then I made a duplicate of the image, flipped it horizontally, and carefully aligned the two sides.
I was quite delighted to see the various “nature spirits” appear along the join line. “Faces in the Forest” is a favorite photo of folks at our store because it is pure fun!
