Jadeite
Jadeite is one of two types of crystals commonly referred to as Jade. It was exalted by Mayan & Aztec cultures as the highest frequency for contacting and acquiring protection, prosperity, and health from the inner worlds. This stone has the power to bring cohesiveness to a community.

Geology
Jadeite is a monoclinic crystal and, along with nephrite, is commonly called Jade. It is commonly found in shades of green, blue, white, or purple. The most notable deposit of jadeite is in Myanmar (formally Burma).

Jadeite is connected to the heart and root chakras.
Care
You can place Jadeite in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth overnight.
Astrological Association
Jadeite is associated with Aries.
Health Folklore
Jadeite strengthens and regulates the blood, cells, and bones. It can also aid the functions of the reproductive organs.
