Historical Folklore

While the moniker “galaxyite” may refer to the space-like pattern of this stone, the name “galaxite” actually comes from Galax, Virginia, and the Galax flower that grows near there.

This stone is often referred to as an “aura stone” for its impeccable ability to strengthen, fortify, and balance one’s aura. It is excellent for metaphysical workers.

Geology

This stone is a combination of feldspar and labradorite. The feldspar acts as a bed for tiny pieces of labradorite, creating its distinct flecked surface. It has been found in the United States.

Chakra Association

This stone is associated with the crown chakra.

Care

You can place this stone in full moon moonlight to energize. It can also be moved through sage smoke or incense, placed in rice, or buried in the earth overnight.

Health Folklore
