The Rooster (also called Cock or Cockerel) represents sexuality, watchfulness, and resurrection as an animal totem. Just as the sun rises to welcome a new day, new life, and new opportunity, so does the rooster with his morning call. This connection to light leads many to associate the rooster with the ability to ward off dark spirits.
Those who have the rooster as their totem animal are known to be feisty personalities. These people enjoy when the path ahead is exciting but straightforward. The spirit of this bird calls for one to embrace every bit of themselves, no matter how odd or our of the mainstream their qualities may seem. One with this totem animal would also do well to research the spirit of their biological ancestor, the pheasant.
If you resonate with the Rooster or have it as your animal totem, see below for stones whose energy can help you connect on a deeper level.
