Medium Turquoise Nugget Pendants

Our Medium Turquoise Nugget Pendants are made here at Crystal Life using top quality gemstone beads on silver-toned jewelers metal. Each of these Turquoise Pendants have patches of that iconic blue color Turquoise is known for intertwined with a brown to black matrix. Their “nugget” shape is somewhat irregular, resembling a tumbled stone with their abstract contours but these pendants will measure on average 1.25″ from the top of the pendants bail to the base of the gemstone with the gemstone measuring between 1/2″ and 3/4″ tall and wide.

The stone is said to derive its name from the Turks, who traded in the Eastern Mediterranean region of Europe.

Geology

Turquoise used to be most prevalent in Iran. It has since been found in the United States and other parts of the world. This stone comes in different colors, depending upon where it was mined. Tibetan turquoise, also called Chinese Turquoise, usually has a black matrix moving through it. Arizona Turquoise and Mexican Turquoise usually does not.
