Past lives are something that many like to explore, perhaps have some recall of, and would like to explore. What I’ve been discovering with the new consciousness souls is this; as more and more levels of their consciousness arrive here on earth, there are those who have instant recognition of a past life, and can literally call upon that part of their totality when necessary.

Many of us are able to recall past lives very easily while about age three and four. A child may  ask why they’re not the parent this time, or simply state how happy they are to be with an individual for another life.  This is quite normal for every level of consciousness and eventually, for most individuals, this fades away as they mature and the general, pervasive ideology these recollections aren’t possible take hold.

Some individuals remember a life so vividly and actively, it spills into their daily life in ways that cannot be ignored. Parents start to research the clues the youth provide, sometimes unwittingly. One such case occurred here in the States with a young boy who seemed to have an obsession with fighter planes from WWII. Once his parents began investigating, they found he knew obscure things that weren’t common knowledge and their journey led them to a young man, a pilot, who lost his life on a mission in the Pacific. So many other facts lined up with things their son had shared with them, they couldn’t brush this life aside any longer and they had to accept their son was remembering events and individuals from his last life. Once they journeyed to where his life was lost and held a ceremony that was essentially a funeral at sea, their son let go of that life and fully emerged into this one.

The information I am sharing with you today is not one of these situations.  This is a different type of recall; once activated, these lives have the capability to assist the individual in their own distinctive voice. One such individual currently has two lives she has connected with, one from ancient Egypt,  and the other is of a life many would consider a fantasy; a life as a mermaid.

The recollection of a life in the Pacific Ocean, the mermaid, and the ability to call it up by will has helped her to tap into a knowledge that was dormant within.  Now she easily acknowledges that these life forms live in all waters, (rivers, lakes, seas, oceans), and can hear their calls of greeting and knowledge.  Her recall has also helped to awaken those in her family to these energies, and also to their own lives within the depths of water. Now they too hear the calls of mermaids, and sense the presence of them in different bodies of water, as well as sensing river spirits, water dragons and more. Her knowledge of their capabilities, their appearance and the like is startling and very precise. Her memories of that lifetime are intriguing, for our world has a few things correct, such as moving between the water and earth, but not much else.

The past life in ancient Egypt is just as strong and distinct. An extended family member of the Pharaoh, a position of prestige over-seeing the embalming process, this life memory is often annoyed with historical programs on Egypt, not being shy about setting the record straight on what archaeology has gotten wrong and what we have lost over time.  A recent course in Egyptian Mythology has been an interesting journey-as even the minor gods are met with, “I knew that”, and “no, that’s not quite right, it should be”. Even more amusing is the need to quiet the voice and not correct the teacher on “facts” that are not correct according to that life time. Having no way to prove the information she knows, it is knowledge she notes and stores away.

These awakenings have allowed this individual to pull on the wisdom of these lifetimes. Sometimes it is the strength of the character, other times it’s the innate knowledge of that time and space, other times it is the discipline. Most fascinating is the realization that she now has a desire to take their skills and apply them to clean the water of our planet. Not with chemicals, but with natural skills and energies that we have lost or forgotten over the ages.

How many other gifts might come from the ability to tap so purely into our souls past? Hopefully our children will share these revelations over time, so that more and more we come to accept these realities.

Quite a number of people have asked me that, since they know I consciously work with a team of guides, in a collective manner. The answer is very often different.

When someone asks me this, I tune into their team of guides, and ask why, for the person. Then I ask them what I should tell the person. Sometimes they don’t want me to say anything. This is often the case when there is a cultural or religious prejudice against being able to see angels and guides, and the person’s guides have adapted to that restriction and have found other ways to communicate. This might be through helping the person to have “hunches” or contriving to have a book open to the answer being sought or maybe having the person find a lucky penny.

Other times the guides have actually compelled the person to ask me, and expect that in return I will explain to the person what the blockage is, and how to remove it. This sometimes occurs when the other person is an energy worker and the blockage is a blind spot. We all have blind spots, and the nice bit about being an energy worker is that another colleague is able to see the blind spot when you cannot. So it’s good to get an honest answer.

In my colleague’s situation, she was not hearing her guides because she did not want to acknowledge their answer, which was not what she wanted to do in the situation. She knew what she wanted to do, and was attempting to force the guides to accept it. So their response was to shut up and not respond at all. Your guides will not tell you to do what you want, they will tell you what is the appropriate response. If you don’t want to do that, this is a free will universe and you don’t have to. But then don’t be surprised if your guides become silent.

When you attempt to get the answer you want, instead of listening to what the universal energies are saying, you can over-ride the energies, and your own mind can play tricks on you, so that you think you are being told to do what you want – then you do that thing, and the results are not as promised. Most people eventually, when working with inner guides, have this experience and so this causes many people to stop attempting communication; they think it has proven false.

The ability to accurately communicate with your own team of inner guides, who exist in many different spectrums of consciousness and have different abilities, is an achievement not to be lightly valued. It requires work on the part of both partners in each situation, although as you become experienced, the ability to communicate with different life forms is easier.

I always suggest you start out by testing each other. You and the guide determine a test that shows their capacities; if they pass, then you on your part should accord them respect and trust that they can assist you.

Right now, the energies of earth are going through a great many changes and so even the most experienced energy workers are finding that they need to go back time and again, recenter, and re-establish the proper lines of communication with their guides.

It is hard for some people to have faith in the presence and wisdom of their guides, for this requires knowing and understanding how to communicate clearly with them. The principles of dowsing are very useful in this regard. Dowsers know that they need to be detached from the question and the answer, and that there may be extenuating circumstances blocking the answer, thus many dowsers always ask “May I, can I, should I” before asking a question. And they need to frame the question very clearly, so there is no ambiguity as to what is being sought.

Lastly, in the West, we are very often taught not to center and draw on our own inner awareness, but to rely on the authority of some outer figure, whether political, social or religious. Thus we have very little experience in the type of work required to listen accurately. Some form of centering exercise, whether martial arts or meditation, is very useful for learning to draw from your own inner reserves, and to listen and move about the inner worlds. The secret is learning to center inside your own self.

Last October 31, 2011, I attended a Buffalo Sweat (winter sweat lodge) with my Blackfoot medicine man and Bear Spirit medicine lodge apprentices. After the sweat, the medicine man announced that the 2012 vision quest was about to begin if anyone was interested in participating. I volunteered for it and was told the one in charge would be contacting me soon after I emailed him to be a part of it. That sounded easy, but what does that have to do with “too fast”? I am not a computer person. Yes, occasionally I am on it and surf, though I fall more than I ride the surf. It took me two weeks, due to limited access to a computer (the library), to get an email to go out and not bounce back. Since then Jimmy, the facilitator for the vision quest, has requested a phone conversation. In the last six weeks we have failed to connect either by email or phone. Enter Grump Buffalo who says “This is ridiculous, I do not have the time for this. It’s so aggravating. I should just drop out.” Grandfather Buffalo comes along. So now I have Grandfather and Grumpy Buffalo on each shoulder. Remember the picture of the Angel at one ear and the Devil at the other?

The question was “When life moves too fast and you are overwhelmed, what do you do?” Here is my suggestion. Step back from the situation presenting itself. Ground, breathe, and center. Look at the complete situation as it is presented to you. What are your options? How can you slow down enough to navigate the crisis you perceive? It is an obstacle only if you refuse to change? Find a way to move forward. Slowly make the gradual shifts necessary to navigate the internet/email crisis. You will find it becoming easier and your comfort zone now encompasses that situation. The ‘All Clear’ is given and life resumes to normal.

Guess what! I just heard the alarm, my comfort zone is being pushed again. I now have an email address with Crystal Life by which I can personally answer all of your questions. Stay tuned while I navigate the fast flowing river. I see rapids ahead. We only become who we are when we open to life’s lessons, creating our own reality, good or bad. There is a saying “When life gives you lemons, make Lemonade”.

Let’s look at two of the neglected crystals and their properties.

The Empathic Crystal

This crystal comes to you perhaps severely damaged. It may be chipped, gouged, broken their points chipped or missing totally. You will be thankful to have one on the day you wake up perhaps depressed or feel unloved by family or a friend. When you have that feeling because your son or daughter has not called you or stopped by for some time, pick it up. What do you feel or hear? It says to you “I know how you feel, look at me, see how I have been treated. Guess what, I am still here. Life has treated me badly, but let me help you. Let me help to rescue you. Let me be your blankey”. They will clear the stress, in times of change they will help with transitions. Help with empathy towards others without the need to take on their pain. They will teach you to help others as well as yourself.

The Warrior Crystal

This crystal is related to the Empathic Crystal. In fact they may be one and the same. If you put the two side by side they will have the same or similar impurities, breaks, fractures, or broken tips. You can ask yourself, “Do I need empathy today, or do I need the warrior?” The Warrior says “I have been through a lot of battles. I was treated disrespectfully and abused many times. But look, you are holding me in your hand. I am still here. Let me help you with your wounds to help them heal. Stand up straight, be proud of who you are. You have been through the school of hard knocks and you are still here. Stand up and fight. Be strong physically and mentally”.

These two have much to offer you. Do not neglect them. Oh, and have that perfect crystal too.

While we are here on Earth, we are here to learn to be the best we can be. What does that mean? We are here to learn to live in peace and harmony, to love and appreciate, and to accept each human, animal, plant, and inanimate object for who he/she is. We are to learn to coexist as a loving species.

Each lesson is specifically made for each individual. The next time you are having a bad day, ask with a loving heart, “What am I supposed to learn from this situation?” After you have asked the question, you can sit quietly and wait for the answer. However, the Universe does not always work that simply. Sometimes you will get your answer soon after you have asked, and other times it comes hours, or days later.

The answer may not come in the traditional form most are accustomed to. Many times, one receives his/her answer in a unique way.  One may receive his/her answers in a song, overhearing part of someone else’s conversation, or witnessing the same situation, but with others playing your role. Do not accept these situations as coincidence; they are not, they are your answers. The Universe is spectacular, and she will never fail you.

Melanie was called upon by spirit to build this labyrinth, placing it on a land site that had previously kept old truck and farm machine parts. She did not even know what a labyrinth was, when she started. The labyrinth became a learning tool for Melanie as well as a gift for others. Soon the life forms of the labyrinth requested she take photographs. She threw away her first camera, thinking it was defective because there were all these round dots on the photos!

Now she knows better, and is one of the best orb photographers Atala has come across! The photos of orbs in this blog are Melanie’s. Many of our Blue Papaya youth and their parents are empathic, which means they can sense and feel the emotions and energies of individuals, animals, and objects.  More often than not they are also clairsentient.  Clairsentient individuals are able to perceive energy fields, including auras and vibrations that can be attributed to interdimensional communication.

More to the point, Clairsentience is also known as ‘Clear Feeling’ or ‘Clear Sensing’. This ability encompasses an Empath’s gift of sensing and feeling another person’s or animal’s emotions and energies. It also encompasses the ability of Psychometry, which is the ability to read the residual emotions and energies imprinted on inanimate objects.

This can be accompanied by other Clair Abilities, which fall under the category of Extra Sensory Perception (ESP), such as Claircognizance (clear knowing), Clairvoyance (clear seeing), Clairaudience (clear hearing), Clairscentist (clear smelling), and Clairgustant (clear tasting). But, as with every Clair ability, it can also stand alone. What this means is that, if one is Clairsentient, they will feel or sense energies, whether from a corporeal or non-corporeal source. And it might be accompanied with the ability to see or hear such things as spirits and energies, within the mind’s eye, or it might not be. Each Clair ability can work in cooperation with others, or stand alone.

Empathy and Clairsentience are within the same spectrum of gifts, which are those of feeling or sensing the emotions and energies of the world around them. But Clairsentience is a broadened form of Empathy which encompasses a wider field of sensitivities ~ expanding beyond just the emotions and/or energies of other people and/or animals.

Our late September Blue Papaya Gathering was a practical lesson on how to protect your energy field not only from others but from different environments.  Our group met at the statue of Ekwabet along the Fox River in Saint Charles, IL.  The area Ekwabet resides along is a particularly sweet one and was a very appropriate place for the group to ground before tackling the different frequencies of energy we would encounter throughout our evening walking through the downtown.

We also did an exercise that focused on the Native American energies imprinted on the area to see if they had any guidance or messages for us. This is a typical pattern for our group. We often speak with the devas of a park we are about to explore after we have grounded so that we establish a positive relationship with the energies present.  We ask to be open to the lessons they would like to share with us, and often we are extremely surprised and delighted by their gifts of knowledge shared.

Standing in a circle, we next extended our arms outward to our sides. Everyone’s energy field reaches beyond the tips of their fingers, and it was easy to see how maneuvering through day to day activities it is very possible for other individuals energy to impact your own energy as they bleed into your field. Often individuals don’t like to go out in crowds because they feel overwhelmed, dirty, agitated, angry or simply not themselves. This is because their energy fields are open and they have taken on the multiple energies of the places and individuals they have encountered.

Our goal was to teach the youth how to pull their energy fields close to their bodies, to not let them fully extend so that they would not be affected by other less positive places and individuals.  Deeply inhaling, we pulled our energy inward, almost like an angel pulling it’s wings close to it’s body is how some envisioned this practice.  Now we were ready to traverse the town and experiment on how different city environments make us feel.

We learned how the movement of water under a bridge affected not only the energy field of some, but it was also felt in the second and third chakras of others.  The youth felt the impact of heavy traffic on their energy field, and also how different businesses not only can have inviting energies, but also can be solemn or downright negative. Sometimes this is a reflection of the current occupants, or  based on past events that have imprinted themselves.  They also could feel the impact of  electrical conductors on their energy fields, which was surprising to some, especially considering how reliant we are on technology in today’s world.

We came across some musicians playing Irish folk music at an outdoor courtyard, which was another lesson on how music can flow through your energy field and can effect your mood. My how the city seemed to be co-operating with us!

By the end of the evening, the youth had learned to identify how different situations affected their energy, and were more aware of when to draw in their energy fields, and to be more attuned to these shifts.

Take out your family and have your own experiments when out in public. Start out in a peaceful place, practice identifying your energy field and bringing it in closer before you start your journey. We are moving into an era in which we are attempting to figure out precisely how energy works. Scientists in all disciplines, metaphysicians, religious figures are all exploring the intricacies of subtle energy. Whether it is a spiritual scientist tracking the light fields that become matter, or a scientist studying the principles of quantum physics – all are discovering that there are certain principles of energy that apply to these subtle situations, that can be replicated, and quantified.

 Dowsers – those folks who use pendulums, rods or their body to locate information – have evolved certain principles that permit them to get accurate answers. A lot of these principles apply to understanding when faith works, and how.

The foremost principles are: be detached, invoke the protection of the light/source of all, if you work with guides invoke their presence, be thorough, specify exactly what it is you are seeking.

Let’s say they are downsizing at your place of work. You pray you don’t get fired, as you have a lot of bills to pay and a family to support. But you do get fired. And your faith takes an immediate downward spiral; your prayers were not answered.

Or – you THINK your prayers are not answered. You forgot how you disliked the job, really wanted to do something else with your life and feel you are trapped. You prayed for help with your life.

Or – when you were in spirit, before you were born, you discussed with your inner family that in order to be an expert in some aspect of spirit, you required experience in an area you really did not care to explore in previous incarnations (say attention to detail such as required on a processing line in a factory), and agreed to learn that in this life, with the understanding that once that lesson was learned, you would move on.

Or – your spirit wanted to understand how energy is transmitted through matter, but when you incarnated, you forgot about that interest except when it came time for a job, you became a telephone line man, physically working with lines of energy but gradually waking up to that fact that you wanted to know more…

There are so many scenarios that occur in all our lives here on earth in which we are participating as part of a universal plan of maturing energy. When something happens in our lives that appears catastrophic, it’s time to pull back into our personal center and focus on the lessons to be learned.

When we start, it’s good to call on help from the light forces of the universe, however you define them – Jesus, Buddha, Universal Light, the angels. Each of these forms is a bona fide spirit energy that prevails in consciousness, and who can assist you.

At first you may feel like you are flailing about, asking for help everywhere. Gradually, you must focus on the energy that is coming forward to assist. Christians know this, assigning qualities to various saints such as Christopher for assisting travelers; Hindus know this assigning these qualities to various gods such as Ganesh for good luck at work. This energy that you are calling towards you has specific qualities and functions. Sit with it as it strengthens, and learn from it. The energy will give you information, such as, “Yes, you have lost your job. Good. It is time for you to move on and learn about …..” On your part, you need to listen and move forward to actually learn …..

That is, the energies can help you and provide you with information about the way forward. But you must do your part as well. You need to learn to ask sincerely, from the heart, and then LISTEN or FEEL for the answer; not impose the answer you want on the situation. We have free will: we can choose to override the subtle answers from spirit with our own thought forms, but then we are not certain about the results – we impose what we feel we should have instead of what the universe in its wisdom has laid out before us. We think the result, but that may not be the result in actuality. However, when we work with our guides or spirit, and align with the energies, then we can affect the result from inside the flow, which is more effective than trying to push the strong energies from the outside.

Lastly, sometimes prayer will perform miracles: you can pray for a recovery from an illness, for example, and recover. This occurs when you move into solid alignment with the universal forces, and someone or something helps you to lock into good alignment. The person praying has actually transformed their own consciousness in some way, so that they can align. This occurs when the lessons have been learned and processed. It appears to be a “miracle” but these miracles also follow cosmic laws of energy and two people with exactly the same seeming outer circumstances may experience two different outcomes, depending upon their own responses to the situation, and their own evolutionary needs.

So when looking at the quality of “faith,” this can become an amazing experience of learning how the universe actually functions, in a spiritually scientific manner.

We’d love to hear your experiences; at some time in the future I will share mine, in which a brush with death caused my own energetic transformation.

I would like then to introduce a few, as well as those I am familiar with or have been introduced to.

1. Reiki is a healing modality to which the healer is initiated into. Its purpose is to bring life force into the recipient for balance and harmony, thus healing the body on many levels.

2. Matrix Energetics is a healing system based on Quantum Physics that teaches wave form patterns. The idea being to break down the present or weakened wave form replacing it with a higher vibration.

3. Healing Touch uses life force energy working with the Chakra system to bring about balance and harmony.

4. Quantum Touch is based on the healer raising their vibration to a higher level than the client’s frequency level. By doing this, he or she is able to entrain the affected area to a balanced healing.

5. Animal Communication is based on the fact that animals have a consciousness level that one can connect into. Many Moms and Dads are assisted by this communication to bring about healing and stronger relationships.

6. Crystal Therapy uses resonant frequencies of the crystal/gemstone to bring about a balanced harmony within the body.

All of these and many others work well with animals.
