We first need to have an understanding of clearing the crystals of the energies they bring with them and then of the energies they have picked up from your issues. There are many ways to clear your stones and so we will look at a few.

            1. Salt Water: Use a cup of pure or spring water. Add ¼ tsp. of Sea Salt. Place your crystals into the water for several hours or more. You may intuitively decide the length of time or ask your pendulum.

            2. Sea Salt: Pour Sea Salt into a bowl and then bury or place your stones in this salt. Intuitively decide the length of time needed to clear the stones or use your pendulum.

            3. Sage Stick: Using a piece of Native American Sage, light the sage and put out the flame. Then run the stone through the smoke several times.

            4. Other Crystals: To clear your crystals or gemstones, place them on a Quartz cluster, Copper plate, or natural Copper ore. You may use Kyanite, Selenite, Citrine, or other high energy stones by laying your stones on them or around them.

            5. Energetic Clearing: You may also use Reiki or other energetic healing modalities to clear your stones.

Now that your stones are clear, let’s look at the issues we may want to clear. If your are always anxious or stressed, you will want to have any of the following stones: Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Kyanite, Kunzite, Lithium Quartz to name a few. Focus on the issue and hold the stones until you are calm, try fifteen to twenty minutes. Wear a stone pendant for a period of time until you are calm. Create an elixir using the stone and pure water. Drink it periodically.

Remember to always clear your stones, clear your issues, then clear your stones.

Not more than a few minutes went by before she came back up the steps of the shop. “You’re going to think I’m crazy” she began, “but I swear my knees feel better! It helped, even just holding them for a few minutes!” She was a flurry of different emotions. Calm, excited, astonished, befuddled. Again, she was on her way out of the door, but this time fully equipped with a set of crystals.

Crystals have specific molecular configurations, like different vitamins and food. So when a person holds a crystal whose molecular composition feeds their energy field with some missing property, they feel better! We’re like a crystal grocery store!

The Hawaiian systems works with mana energy (prana, chi, etc). It is a process of using breath as a way of clearing.

We are using two stone techniques to clear those troubling emotions or issues we face. The first process uses three stones, each given the correlating intent.

1. The emotion or issue

2. Clearing the issue

3. The issue cleared

Blow the issue into the first stone. Place it in front of you, and point to it expressing “You are this issue”. Stand over it, feel the energy. Move to the second stone and repeat the process, using the corresponding phrase. Then move to the third stone. Do the process. Turn around and feel the energy. Is it cleared completely? If not, go to the second stone repeating the process through the third stone.

The second technique uses five stones.

1. The issue or emotion

2. The opposite

3. Both (1 & 2)

4. Neither of these (1 & 2)

5. Neither of these and not even that

As in the first technique, blow into the stone. Place it in a sort of a cross pattern:

1) Base 2) Top 3) Left Center 4) Right Center 5) Between 3 & 4

Stand in each place. Feel the energy of each. What does it feel like as you progress from the issue to neither of these and not even that.

One of our customers stopped by in early spring and collected an assortment of stones to use in her garden.  Among the crystals that she chose were quartz crystal and moss agate.  Quartz helps keep the plant’s aura clear and energized.  The moss agate attracts and works with the nature spirits and elementals.  We always enjoy when she stops in and shares the progess of her garden.  The other day, I asked how her tomato plant is doing and she told me that it had started as a small plant not even a foot tall and now it is as tall as she is!  She is going to bring in a picture to show us the results.

There are many more kinds of stones that help in the garden.  From Garnet to help keep the mosquitoes away to rose quartz to wrap the plants in more loving energy, they are useful tools to consider next time you plan to plant!

Tools you will need are as follows:

1. One or more crystals or gemstones having the properties you desire
2. A glass pitcher, jar, or bowl. Preferably clear, no color or writing on them. Perhaps even a clear Pyrex pan (for boiling)
3. Water: Clear spring or mineral water. Some call for distilled water only.
4. Cheese Cloth, plastic wrap, or covering cloth (no metal bowls or lids are acceptable)

Now that we have the tools, let’s proceed with making our gemstone elixir. Begin with clean stones. Program them with your intent. Place them in the bowl, add water, and cover with the cheese cloth or plastic wrap. Set it out in the sunlight and/or moonlight for up to 24 hours. After this is complete, bring the charged water inside and remove the stones and transfer the water into a jar or pitcher to drink over the next several days.

To make a “Mother Elixir” you will need to add one of the following ingredients in order to stabilize the elixir:

1. Brandy/Vodka
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
3. Vegetable Glycerin

It is suggested that you use half stabilizer to half elixir, but it is better if you use your intuitive judgment here. Let the Stabilizer sit for about seven days. When stabilized, you may add as many drops as you feel necessary to a glass of pure water.

CAUTION: If you are using a raw stone or are not certain of the mineral content, use the indirect method to make your elixir. Using this method, you will not place the stones directly in the water but in a glass jar set into water or place just outside the base of the jar holding the water.

These items are inspirational and provide health benefits as well. After a person has attended to all the medical issues related to the cancer, it is good to do whatever else can help the body, mind and spirit to clear and rebalance. Something selected from the rose quartz and aventurine (green quartz) family of stones is a good solution.

The quartz family of stones is known for its clearing, balancing and energizing qualities. It is, molecularly, a tetrahedron shape, which is in sacred geometry a creating and healing light form. The different colors come from the introduction of other minerals. Aventurine (green quartz) helps to generate healthy new growth, and a gift of something green quartz to hold or wear (stone, bracelet, necklace) during chemotherapy treatments helps the wearer to focus on restoring their body to health. A piece of rose quartz offers soothing, gentle yet strong energy, helping the person to be in a state of love during this formative period of recovery.

A lady came into the store with a friend, it seemed as though they weren’t looking for anything specific. Within a few minutes she was standing in front of me with a piece of Mangano Calcite. She explained that it was calling to her, and that she just had to have it. I grabbed the card with the information explaining the stone and gave it to her. When she read it I could tell in her face that it had struck a chord.

Mangano Calcite helps to release fear and grief and replaces these feelings with unconditional love. Furthermore, it soothes those who have suffered from trauma. She explained that she had recently lost her daughter. The relevance was obvious to both of us. Even though she was unsure how to process this at first and a little bit spooked, she understood the significance and left the store promising to keep the stone in her pocket at all times.

A geode begins as a molten Volcanic flow and when it begins to harden, gasses form bubbles which are the outer shell of the geode. The gas and minerals then begin to form the inner surface of the geode. The outer shell consists of limestone, dolomite, clay or other hard stone.

Inward you will have Amethyst, Citrine, Clear Quartz, Calcite, Chalcedony, or other minerals growing inward toward the center. Geodes usually range in size from one inch to two feet, on rarer occasions as large as six feet or more.

The Geode, depending on its core mineral, can assist in many ways. It assists greatly in meditation to see the bigger picture of a particular situation. You may use it to connect to your higher consciousness or your group consciousness.

A large geode may be placed in a room to draw in negative energies which it transmutes to positive energy. They may be used in healing grids or individually placed on the body for healings. The possibilities are endless for their uses.
