Aldeen Park Trees

Posted by: Kathy Patterson, IL
I was up at Aldeen Park in Rockford, IL and I took these pics. Here are two of them. There were a lot of old oaks and many seemed to have ‘faces’ on them. The other picture of a tree root, could that be a ‘portal’? I have more pictures but did not want to make a big attachment.

    Hi Kathy

Yes, the Burr Oaks have wonderful burrs that often resemble faces, animals, and so forth. Oaks have traditionally been known in many earth communities as the grandfather tree, the eldest and wisest. To me, they are the most able to identify with other life forms and often absorb and manifest those energies to hold space for their area.

The second photo, of the root, is a portal into another world; you might to go exploring – just ask your guides to be with you and see what adventures you can encounter!
