These handknotted silk cord malas are fashioned of stabilized red coral beads, ranging in size per strand from 5 mm to 7 mm.

We are discontinuing our pocket malas - the 54 bead half count and the 27 bead quarter count sets - so these are on a deep 40% discount until we are out of those styles.

These malas have been peacefully handcrafted by our own craftswomen, cleansed and blessed before shipping to you. Included with your purchase is a small booklet describing how to use your prayer beads and a card about the healing qualities of the gemstone. This is coral that has been dyed red. We keep it in our line as coral in red color is so energetically soothing. Mediterranean red coral is on the endangered species list (coral being the skeleton of sea creatures) and can be sold in jewelry form only with a special license. White brain coral dyed red and Bali red coral sponge stabilized with fillers are the usual red coral beads on today’s market; we use this type of coral.
