| | Witness pendulums contain a hollow opening into which a "witness" can be placed, such as a piece of gold, a piece of hair or an herb. The pendulum is then swung to either locate the substance, as on a map, or balance the substance in an area or a person. Left: This is a brass replica of the pendulum used by Abbe Mermet, a founder of modern radiesthesia. It is a popular tool with homeopaths as the cavity can hold a sample for transmitting distances. 1 1/4" long. Middle: Plexiglass witness, often used for minerals. The plexiglass minimizes the influence of the pendulum's own material. Can be used to energize small materials such as gemstones. 1 1/2" long. R: Double Mermet. It is more sensitive than the single mermet, further amplifying the energy of the sample. It responds well to mental commands. 1 3/4" long. Click photo for prices. |
